    About SLO Noor Foundation Health Clinics: SLO Noor Foundation is a non-profit organization providing free medical, dental and vision care to uninsured adults in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County, regardless of race, ethnicity, immigration status, religion, sexual orientation, or gender.

    We are a volunteer-based, community supported organization committed to advancing diversity and inclusion by helping ensure that all people across our communities feel valued and have equal access to resources, services, and opportunities provided by SLO Noor Foundation.

    JOB OVERVIEW: Responsibilities are overseeing the organization's strategic direction, overseeing all the clinical operations, daily operations, financial health, and reporting to the board of directors.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • 1. Fiscal Oversight:

      • A) Overseeing bookkeeper, preparing payroll, payment of bills, ensuring that appropriate insurance policies are in place (worker's compensation, liability, director & officers and malpractice), working with an accountant to prepare tax filings and prepare monthly financial reports for the Board.

      • B) Using the approved budget as a guideline, monitor and adjust expenses to balance with revenue while meeting or exceeding the patient encounter goals contained in the budget.

      • C) Maintain and grow the reserve account (ensure a three months operating budget).

    • 2. Revenue Generation and Management:

      • D) Grant Administration - Oversight of grant requirements and applications, invoicing of funders, preparation of grant reports and communication with funders; investigate and apply for new grants.

      • E) Fund -raising activities - oversee all fund-raising activities to ensure financial viability for continuing operations.

    • 3. Volunteer provider oversight: Provider oversight and credentialing of clinic volunteer providers, ensuring that malpractice coverage is in place.

    • 4. Technology oversight: Ensuring that technology systems are functioning optimally.

    All backup is in place.

    • 5. Board of Directors: Have monthly administrator and financial reports prepared, attendance at monthly Board meetings and Special Board committee meetings as necessary.  Communicate with board members regularly and respond promptly to questions and requests from board members as needed.

    • 6. Organizational Management: Ensure a highly efficient and effective organization while maintaining a positive work environment resulting in minimal voluntary turnover.

    Handle staff evaluations and oversight. Conduct an analysis of organizational functions and staffing needs. Have employee handbooks reviewed properly and all H/R standards met.

    • 7. Communication – Act as primary communications/marketing officer for the organization making robust use of social media platforms to increase exposure of the organization.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3-5 years Management experience.
